About the Artist
Miyo is a fine art watercolor painter whose artworks are known for the recognisable, quintessentially Richmond upon Thames (London, United Kingdom) sights with the dogs and their humans. She loves to walk around everyday, examining the nature's wonders before painting her favourite moments of the day. As a millennial, she had a joyful childhood without internet and she often wishes to turn back time, unplug entirely from social media and the digital space. Painting provides her the best avenue to do so; she was truly the happiest when she is at it.

Born in Singapore, she has lived in several countries including Hong Kong before moving to the United Kingdom. She has also travelled to over 80 countries in the world. Despite travelling and living in many different parts of the world with vastly different cultures, she notices a constant. Happiness is universal. A happy couple walking hand in hand, the loyal dog as companion, some emotions, longing and desires in life are universal. The moments as such are fleeting and worth remembering.
Miyo's artworks provide a sense of peace and calm to the audience but the greatest sentiment is without a doubt, that she derives a lot of joy in capturing special memories and moments as she internalises her feelings as a sensitive person.
