The "Winter in Richmond" series captures the serene and subtle beauty of Richmond in its quiet months. Drawing on the soft, muted palette of England’s colder months, the artworks reflect the rare sunset hues amidst grey days, the ever more obvious sparkling lights from the lamp posts along the river. Each artwork celebrates the understated charm of a Richmond winter, where every scene feels both familiar and freshly enchanting.

Before moving to the United Kingdom few years ago, Miyo lived her entire life in countries without winter or any seasons at all. Imagine hot humid 30 degrees celsius environment. Winter is new, winter was very depressing, winter was ever so challenging and she had only recently embraced its beauty. It is both refreshing and enchanting. She hopes to bring fresh perspectives and new angles to winter in Richmond.
