Moving to the United Kingdom few years ago, Miyo had to make friends, starting afresh at an adult age. That is not easy, coming from a background where cultural differences are vast. She has found kindness, familiarity as well as some new friendships as time passes. She wants to capture the warmth, the people in the neighbourhood who provided her with much joy and a sense of belonging she once thought she would never find.
